Hi, thanks for reaching out. The Compilation has always been a bit messy, but since the events of FF7, Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, and Dirge of Cerberus all directly play into FF7 Remake and are referenced throughout FF7R, it does not make sense to split it out as its own canon. This is similar to how we're handling Star Wars, Arrowverse, Buffyverse, etc.
