Thank you to everyone who helped claim the last batch! We have two additional pinch hits available now. These are also due at Wednesday, Dec 16, at 8pm EST. If you'd like to claim one, please comment on this post with your AO3 username and the pinch hit you want. Anyone with an AO3 account is welcome to claim a pinch hit, whether or not you're signed up for Mistletoe Exchange.

This is a reminder that the deadline is Wednesday, Dec 9, 8 pm EST -- that's just under 48 hours from the time of this post. We will default incomplete assignments at that time.

Countdown to the deadline!

While you're still able to edit works after the deadline, assignments submitted at the deadline should already be finished enough to work as a gift.

If you're not quite there yet, extensions are given on a case by case basis, and must be requested no less than 24 hours before the deadline. If you have an extension and you were defaulted on, you will not go to pinch hits until you have turned in your assignment.

Repeating from the rules post:

You can request 3 to 10 fandoms, with 1 to 10 ships and 1 to 2 media per fandom. Numbers for offers are the same.

You can only request or offer the same fandom once, and you may only sign up with one account.

Do Not Wants:
Any “Do Not Wants” -- elements that cannot be included in the gift you receive -- must be clearly labeled and included in the Optional Details box on the signup form in order to be enforceable. While creators are expected to follow letter-only DNWs in good faith, you won’t receive a make-up gift for a DNW violation unless the DNW was listed in your signup.

DNWs should not contradict your officially requested tags. For example, “DNW incest” for a brother/sister request won’t be enforced. DNWs also may not be used to box your creator into one specific scenario (for example “dnw: anything but omegaverse AU” will not be enforced).

Unmatchables:
If your offers don’t match to any requests, the mod will contact you at your AO3-linked email after signups close. You’ll have the opportunity to either add offers or remove your signup; if you don’t reply, your signup will be removed.

If your requests don’t match to any available creators, they’ll be listed on the admin comm as an initial pinch hit.
